The Altumate Series is our range of extra tall sump filtered Reef/River Aquariums. This unique series originally named after the incredible Altum Angel is the ‘Altumate’ mixed application Aquarium, ideal for either a freshwater or saltwater applications. Uniquely tall in stance and extra wide in depth, all of the Aquariums in this series measure an impressive 800mm high with depths that increase incrementally with tank sizes in the range. Bracing is constructed using a single sheet of water jet cut opti-clear glass. This single sheet of glass is then siliconed perfectly in place to CADE’s industry leading standard to complete the minimalist look synonymous with CADE Aquariums
The dimensions in the Altumate series vary between models in both length and width with the only consistent dimension between the 3 models being height:
- The Altumate 1200 measures 1200x660x800h
- the Altumate 1500 measures 1500x700x800h
- The Altumate 1800 measures 1800x750x800h
An internal corner weir in the Aquarium delivers water silently to a state of the art sump filter boasting unique features such as an elevated pre filter chamber complete with filter socks and a filter pad tray. An easy flush chamber drainage system enabling settled debri to be removed without the need to remove media. The addition of ‘media baskets’ which allow for various biological and biochemical media to be neatly and conveniently added to the filteration system. Finally we’ve added sliding glass covers over the sump to help reduce evaporation.
CADE’s range of Aquarium cabinets are made from aluminium and glass making them the most hardwearing aquarium furniture on the market. Water spillage is an inevitable consequence of aquarium maintenance so it’s good to know your CADE cabinet is completely resistant to water damage and it will never warp or swell like a water damaged wooden cabinet. Instead they simply wipe clean with ease ensuring it remains looking like new for years to come. Another great feature of CADE cabinets are adjustable feet which allows the aquarist to conveniently level the tank on uneven floors.
The Altumate series cabinets are provided pre-built and packaged in plywood box’s with the sump filter secured safely inside. Assembly is as simple as unboxing, positioning and screwing the plumbing together.

CADE products are covered by a 2 year limited warranty from the date of purchase covering manufacturers defects. Warranty does not cover damage caused by usage such as scratches and chips to glass consequent to normal wear and tear.
Aquaristic Customer Delivery / Pick Up Option:
DROPSHIP
We offer drop shipping from our supplier to you. Additional fee might incur if the delivery fee is substantially higher than the delivery cost to our warehouse / retail store. Drop shipping is done by standard courier who delivers to your driveway / front yard of your property. The courier driver will not carry the fish tank into your house. Courier company will generally give notice a day before and you will be given a window of delivery (not an exact time and date). Should you miss the delivery, you are liable for a re-delivery fee.
All freight is insured and every precaution with packaging and handling is taken to ensure that your delivery is transported with the greatest of care from the factory to your doorstep. Aquariums are quality checked prior to dispatch. Upon receipt of delivery, you are requested to open the boxes and check the contents to ensure no damage has occurred in transit prior to signing for receipt of delivery. We are not able to process the warranty should the damage is reported after the delivery is complete.
PROFESSIONAL DELIVERY
We use Lux Moves for all our tank delivery. All freight is insured by Lux Moves. Lux Moves will deliver your fish tank into your house and position it on top of your cabinet and remove the rubbish. Plumbing installation and feet levelling can be arranged. For quote, please contact Lux Moves directly or provide us with your address and we can get the quote for you. STORE PICK UP
We can arrange for store pick up from our warehouse. We can assist lifting the aquarium into your car.
